Labor Day weekend 2025 brought something new and special to our list of M.W.O.T.W excursions. Five female Veterans were selected from the list of applications for our very first Rock Creek Women’s Retreat. All the lady vets arrived at the initial meeting area in Miles City, Montana, to kick off a four-day fishing excursion at Rock Creek Marina on Fort Peck Lake. The ladies were able to spend those days fishing with our premier list of local boat captains during the day. Late afternoons brought on activities such as lure building, games, delicious meals, Cornhole and time on the water just relaxing. They also found themselves being the guests of honor at the annual Rock Creek Poker Run and Fundraiser held over that weekend every year. The ladies parted ways Labor Day Monday to head back home with a plethora of great new memories to add to their civilian life. Planning is already in the works for the 2026 trip.
