Fort Peck Lake Fishing Tour

At this time, we offer 3 different opportunities to enjoy a chance to enjoy what Montana offers when it comes to our outdoor excursions. Starting with our main event, the Fort Peck Lake Tour. 16 Veterans from across the U.S. Join us on an 8 day excursion to include a day in Beautiful Miles City, Montana where they will have a chance to see the local sights including the historic Range Riders Museum before attending our low key meet and greet dinner. From there we will venture to Hell Creek Recreation Area for three full days of fishing with our local volunteer fisherman. Evenings will be packed with activities such as a class on worm harness building, an expert overview on habitat and fishing the Fort Peck Reservoir, Walleye and Bass targeting boats, and Corn Hole. From there you will venture closer to the Fort Peck Dam itself where our attending Vets will have a chance to experience our Long Range Shoot. Saturday will than be the grand finally with a day of fishing with experienced fisherman near Fort Peck Marina followed by our annual fundraiser also held at the Marina.

Rock Creek Womens Fishing Retreat

Cow Elk Shoulder Hunt

Our newest addition is our Labor Day Weekend Rock Creek Womens Fishing Retreat. This will include a 4 day / 4 night, stay at Rock Creek Marina on the dry arm of Fort Peck Lake. This will be an opportunity for our lady veteran attendees to fish for numerous species of fish with our skilled volunteer fishermen and woman. They will also have the chance to be involved and participate in our Saturday Poker Run, along with nightly activities such as worm harness building, paint & sip, games, boat and pontoon rides, and much much more!

Finally, cooler temps and the end of the year bring our Annual Veterans Cow Elk Hunt that takes place the week following Deer and Elk Rifle Season (Dates will be determined by Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks by the end of December 2025). This usually takes place the first week of December. Four Montana Veterans who are able to purchase a tag for the specific area we will be hunting will have the opportunity to join us in the beautiful mountain back drop southeast of Big Timber Montana. There you will be assisted by knowledgeable staff and volunteer hunters who are familiar with the area for days of hunting and camaraderie. Application release for this event are still pending.

Note: All applications will need to be accompanied by a copy of their service record (DD-214 or Record Brief). Please keep in mind the schedule of each event. It is imperative that you are able to attend and schedule around the specific dates. We understand that unforeseen circumstances due to health and family can always be an issue. We ask that you give it your upmost effort in these situations as to not take that specific opportunity away from other worthy veterans who did not have the luck of getting chosen.
