Outdoor Excursions

At this time, we offer 3 different opportunities to enjoy a chance to enjoy what Montana offers when it comes to our outdoor excursions. Starting with our main event.

Six lucky ladies from Montana and our four neighboring states (North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Idaho) will have the chance to come join us at Rock Creek Marina for late summer fishing, along with numerous other relaxing activities such as a lure building class, pontoon rides, paint and sip, and Poker Run (via boat). Applications for the Women’s Retreat will be open April 11, 2026.

Finally, cooler temps and the end of the year bring our Annual Veterans Cow Elk Hunt that takes place the week following Deer and Elk Rifle Season (Dates will be determined by Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks by the end of December 2025). This usually takes place the first week of December. Four Montana Veterans who are able to purchase a tag for the specific area we will be hunting will have the opportunity to join us in the beautiful mountain back drop southeast of Big Timber Montana. There you will be assisted by knowledgeable staff and volunteer hunters who are familiar with the area for days of hunting and camaraderie. Applications will be open for the Cow Elk Hunt September 13, 2026.

Note: All applications will need to be accompanied by a copy of their service record (DD-214 or Record Brief). Please keep in mind the schedule of each event. It is imperative that you are able to attend and schedule around the specific dates. We understand that unforeseen circumstances due to health and family can always be an issue. We ask that you give it your upmost effort in these situations as to not take that specific opportunity away from other worthy veterans who did not have the luck of getting chosen.
