November 31st was the last day of General Hunting Season for the great state of Montana in 2026. That means Monday December 1st was opening day for the Elk Shoulder Season. Once again, we brought four veterans of all walks of life out to the Big Timber area for our Cow Elk Hunt. This year went exceptionally well with all tags filled the first half of the week. Three gentlemen and one lady attended this year’s hunt. With an exceptional kitchen staff and volunteer hunting guides volunteering their time to make this event happen the attendees went home with Elk and stories to tell for generations to come.
